Attendance

Regular, punctual attendance at school is essential. Keeping your child off school with minor ailments such as a headache or slight cold is not acceptable. If your child is away from school for any reason we need to know why. Please telephone the school before 9.00 am and send a brief note when they return to school. Telephone: 01604 633894

We will have no hesitation in ‘coming to get you’ if we have concerns over your attendance.

Missing one day a week of school EVERY MINUTE COUNTS …

from Reception to Year 10 means missing two years and one term of schooling.

Remember if your child is ill you must phone the school on the first day of illness. A brief note must then be sent in to the Teacher when your child returns to school .

Holidays

NO term time absence will be authorised. If there are exceptional circumstances please make an appointment to see the Head teacher.

A fine may be charged by the local authority if you take your child out of school during term time.
